Baby onsie

This is the onsie I got made for my nephew Jackson to wear today to support my mother in the Colon Cancer walk. The walk was held in Dallas at White Rock Lake. There was a record number of 700 people this year. Our team raised $800 and had a great time doing this even though it was chilly this morning. Everyone has been so kind and supportive. My mother is a fighter and everyone's prayers are helping us all get through this tough time. I am SO fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and family members. I got this iron on t-shirt vinyl in glitter navy blue at http://www.craftvinyl.com/. This is a first for me. Hope you enjoy!

Flying Witch Card and Cat Card

I can post these 2 cards now. The witch was for my friend Nicole and the cat was for my sister-in-law Mandy. I hope they are both enjoying them. These both were so fun to make and keep them hidden until I could get them mailed out. The Happy Hauntings cartridge makes me very happy.

Halloween Cards 10.23.10

A few cards I got completed at my good friends house yesterday. The Happy Hauntings Cartridge has been my absolute favorite I think. The Mr. and Mrs. Frank N Stein is an anniversary card I made for my very good friends. I really need to get one more done and get them mailed out on Monday. It has been SO much fun making these cards this year. Hope everyone enjoys.

Gobble Gobble Card

Here is my Fall card. I just had to get something done. I am entering this one in Getting Cricky's Fall Blessing challenge. I think almost everyone has done a turkey. But they are just the cutest to do for Fall. I cut this turkey out of the Stretch your Imagination cartridge. I really didn't know what else to do with him but used some flowers for his feathers. He is definitely too cute to eat. Haha. Hope you enjoy.

Jackson Ethan Lowery

Here he is! We thought for 8 months that my sister was having a baby girl. Then we found out that she was going to have a boy. Everyone let my sister exchange all the girl items to boy items. It was wonderful that she had no problem getting that done. I am sure she was not the first that this happened to. So, Jackson Ethan Lowery was born October 17, 2010 and weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. I think he will have curly hair like his daddy. Oh I think he is so adorable. I am so excited to be an aunt for the first time. I love this little guy! Mom and Jackson are doing well. My sister says I'm next.

Owl Candle

I decorated this candle that was sitting around my house that I have never used. I love this owl. He has personality. I have entered this candle in Inking it up's blog at http://inkingitupcrazy.blogspot.com/2010/10/weekend-challenge-and-giveaway.html for the Friday, October 15, 2010 weekend challenge and giveaway. It is SO much fun to be apart of this and Kassidy has some real talent. This owl is from the Happy Hauntings cartridge. I like the owl with the witches hat on. Too funny. I hope you enjoy as I will do the same while it's sitting around my house.

Baby Monkey Card

I just got this made this morning for my baby sister who is in the hospital having her first baby boy Jackson. I can't wait to see her and the new little addition. I will be an aunt for the first time today. I cut out the scallops with the Storybook cartridge and the cute little monkey is from Create a Critter. What a great day this is going to be.

Ice cream card

I think this card turned out alright. I made this for my my oldest and bestest girl Nicole (http://nicolegregg.blogspot.com). I didn't have as much time to work on this as I would have liked to but I did the best I could. I took my gypsy to work and just set up the ice cream part with the Stretch your imagination cartridge and the tag from the Sweet Treats cartridge. It's definitely an ice cream cone of a different color. Hope you enjoy!

Rock N Roll Baby Card

Making this card was SO difficult. I love the idea of a rock n roll baby theme. My friend Sandee cut out the guitar and the Rock from the Hanna Montana cartridge. I took it and had to glitter it. I added my own silver details to it with my gel pen and added rhinestones. I used red stickles on the Rock, stamped stars all the way around the card, used my Tim Holtz embossing folder and chalked it with black chalk. I didn't know what else I could do to tie in baby to this card. So, I used my baby boy feet ribbon. It turned out cute. I am so glad my friend Kami loved this card and I can't wait to see the nursery they are doing for baby Jayton.

Look who's 40 card

My second gatefold card. This one was easier to make. I cut out the scallop circles with the Storybook cartridge and I cut the 40 out with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I used my stubby dots stamp from Judith's Stamps to add some silver to the 40. Ribbon and rhinestones added just the right finish. This was a perfect card for my good friend Jen. She deserves it and I hope her 40's are great!

Birthday Card for Maddie

I made this especially for my baby sister. I can't believe I held her in my arms 22 years ago and was so happy I finally had a sister. I made this card from my Sweet Treats cartridge. This cartridge is always so much fun to use. I really don't know what else I could have done but I love how this one turned out. Thanks for looking!
