Inking it Up Crazy Design Team Day!!!

Well, we were asked to use one of our favorite cartridges for our last Inking it Up Crazy DT this month. I have SO many favorites and this is one of my newest favorites. If you don't recognize him, this is Squirt from Finding Nemo. I think he is adorable. I also made this for my sister in law's birthday that is tomorrow. Something cute and something to remind her that our beach vacation is not too far away. I hope you all have a great week. Beach Layout - Inking It Up Crazy Design Team project

I decided to make my layout beach themed. This was really a challenge for me. It is so hard to do a layout after making cards for awhile. I am glad that my design team sister Erika got me this paper. This really gave me the inspiration I needed. This is where my husband and I like to go every summer, Corpus Christi, TX and Port Aransas, TX. These are not the "best" beaches in the world, but I don't have to leave Texas to go to the beach. We have an amazing design team at Inking it Up Crazy. Here is my first side step card. I CAN learn something new this year. I have had this card stuck in my head for a few days. It didn't turn out exactly the way I imagined but pretty close. I used my new Best of Pixar cartridge and I am really enjoying it. I cut out the scallop from my Storybook cartridge and embossed it with my cuttlebug dots. I stickled the plants with my Patina stickles and Starry Night stickles. I chalked the seashells and faux stitched Peal the Octopus. I added some glam rocks with my I-rock too! I really hope you like this. I am still amazed that I made this right now. I am going to teach my friend Sandee how to do this and I am sure I will show my sister-in-law too! Having a blast here at home today. It's my day off and I have been in my craft room all day! I wished I could do that for a living, but hey, someone has to pay the bills. :)

Dory Card

Nothing special but I was in a hurry. I wanted to cut something out of my new Best of Pixar cartridge SO bad. So, here is Ms. Dory. I just wrote out the Just Keep Swimming part. They should have added that phrase to this cartridge. Now I will have that song stuck in my head while I sleep tonight. I am going to LOVE this cartridge! I hope you all get a kick out of this one. Goodnight!
