Owl Always Love You

This is a card I made for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. April was a VERY tough month for me and I forgot how to make cards. My life had been turned upside down and I didn't know if I was going to make it through. I have learned a lot and I am very happy now. Everyone should know, me and my husband Nick are back together working out our problems. I feel very blessed and thank so many of you for supporting me during this difficult time. I am slowly getting back into crafting and I hope you will like this card as well. :)

Good Luck Lisa

Friday is the last day for my friend/co-worker, Lisa at work. She is moving on to another company closer to home and with better pay. Lisa is my Stampin Up friend and who really taught me how to make cards. She is a very compassionate friend who has done so much for me. I am truly going to miss her good mornings but will try my hardest to go see her from time to time so we can make cards together. I would not be where I am today without her. :) I had a hard time making something pretty for her. It's been a tough week for me and I am trying the best that I can. I hope you all like this card. Please be sure to come back Saturday for our Polka Dot Blog Hop. Our team will have some amazing projects.

I chalked black ink around the letters and then added some glam rocks with my I-Rock tool for some detail. Happy Birthday to my Kimberly

Friday is my girl Kimberly's birthday! We have been friends for 10 years now and she is like my long lost sister. We used to have some FUN times together. So, I cut this cute cupcake out from my new Straight from the Nest cartridge. It's such a GREAT cartridge and I can't wait to make some more things from it. I was in a hurry to get this one done tonight so I could mail it tomorrow. So, a little faux stitching around the card and the cupcake and I used my glossy accents on the cherry. I feel like it's missing something, but I can't stay up all night trying to figure it out. hehe. I am entering in this card for the FCCB Challenge me #43 something sweet at
http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2011/01/challenge-me-monday-43.html. Anyway, I hope you like it. Here's to a GREAT week!!!!!
