Colorful alligator baby shower invites

Hello all my crafty peeps. I just helped my good friend Laurie make some baby invites for her sister in laws baby shower. We wanted to make them simple and colorful to go with the colorful baby decorations. Of course, I had the cutesest alligator from the Create a Critter cartridge. I decided to leave off the 3rd layer on the alligator and just added some of my firefly stickles and some twine to them. To save time and paper,  I just stamped the invite wording and I went back and filled them all in. Laurie found the polka dot paper at Michael's and we both just loved the colors. The yellow cut out is from the Storybook cartridge. The rest of the paper I used was all Recollections.  Laurie loves the cards. They are growing on me. I think we could have done more if we had more time. But overall, they are still cute. Hope you like them and know you can do anything for a shower. You are not limited to pastel colors. ;)

Woot Woot!!!

Hi!!!  I decided to get a little crafty tonight since I am WIDE awake!  Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.  I realized I hadn't tried out my new cartridge that I got for $25 on ebay!  What a steal.  :)  The Wild Card 2 cartridge is SO adorable and has so many items to cut out.  I might even like this one better than the first one.

I was able to use my Spring Time stamp set on this card too!  So, I may be giving away that stamp set this weekend at the Red, White & Blue Blog Hop, June 23rd and 24th.  Wink, Wink!!!

Hello everyone!  I have been working on my website for awhile, but life has just been crazy lately.  I know that can happen to us all.

Under the Sea Koozies

Hi all!!! I just wanted to show you my little craft i threw together yesterday evening. We are doing a beach theme at work this month and i thought i would make my team a Koozie so they can enjoy their cold drinks. I just bought foam koozies at Michael's for $1 and a box of foam stickers for $4 and that was it. Very simply.

Happy Mothers Day project

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my project with you. I couldn't wait to make this. I don't know why i haven't tried it before. There have been so many cute 3D Projects i have seen out there. I have already gotten this project delivered To my moms house. I will not get to spend time with her before tomorrow. So i spent Thursday evening with her. We had a great time just chatting away. Now she gets to travel in her travel trailer for 2 weeks. Wished i could be with her.

Hello Mommy Card

Mother's Day is right around the corner.  I started early and made a Mother's Day card for my Mama.  She is going out of town for Mother's Day and I needed to make sure I got something done for her before she leaves.  I think this will be the first year I will not be with my Mama on Mother's Day.  But good for her on getting away.  I have been really stressed out lately and just not happy about anything.  Someone once told me that it's not the things I did that I regret but it's the things I didn't do that I regret.  I now realize this is so true for me.  I am really trying to make a decision on going back to school and I have never been so overwhelmed.  I hope I can figure things out.  And I hope I can get back into crafting too.  I may have not made any design teams but maybe that's a sign.  I am still going to try and enter in some challenges and check out some blogs and leave some sweet comments.  Hope everyone is doing great!!!  :)

Sunday's Milk Box

Hello everyone!  It's Sunday, Fun-day here.  I just got my new Cricut Imagine All Wrapped Up Cartridge through my cricut rewards and I wanted to cut out this milk box so badly.  Now, I didn't do it exactly right, but I was a little confused on what I was doing.  I don't use my Cricut Imagine everyday and I feel like I have forgotten how to use it just a bit.  But, geez, it still turned out cute.  No worries.  This All Wrapped cartridge has so many cute things to cut out.  So, I at least got to take a break from cleaning house and napping to make this little box.  I hope you are all having a great day.  The weather is LOVELY here in TEXAS.  :)

Jinger Adams Design Team Call

Hello everyone!!!  I had a light bulb go off in my head today.  I really believe my true calling is crafting.  I am 200% happy when I AM crafting.  I happened to read  that Jinger Adams was having a design team call.  I decided this sounds like a step in the right direction for me.  I was SUPER excited to get home so that I could make a card and submit it for her DT call.  Jinger has a new line of scrapbooking products that is coming out and I KNOW we are all excited about that.  So, I am putting myself out there and trying out for her team.  I WANT to be on this team to meet new people, to try new products, to learn from others and to share my craftiness with you all.  It would be an honor to get to work with Jinger and become a member of a great team.  If you want more information on Jinger's DT call, please check out the requirements over at Jinger's blog.  Woo-Hoo!!!

I know I need to get back into my crafting mode and get my room cleaned up.  I need to make some cute spring cards and use my new spring stamp set.  I have tons more stamps I would like to make but I may have to wait til the end of the year due to sales and budget.  I am lowering the price of my stamps and will try to get them all sold before I decide on making more.  I feel very discouraged but I love you all!!!!!  Hope you all have a crafty Friday.  Wished I was home crafting too.  I am so jealous.  ;)
