Birthday Catch Card
I cut out this fish from the potpourri basket cartridge that I borrowed from my very good friend. This was made for my other good friend's husbands birthday yesterday. I used my turquoise stickles to add some color and bling to this fish. I used my white gel pen to add details to the fish also. I took some metal wire and made a hook out of it and tied some twine at the end. I stamped my favorite dots stamp from Judith Stamps on the background and used my Stampin Up letters for the sentiment. A few brads to tie in the metal element and you have a manly birthday card for a guy who loves to fish. I thought I got the colors right and this card is really growing on me. Of course, I am totally adding this to GETTING CRICKY's CARTRIDGE CHALLENGE: BOYISH CHARMS at http://kandrewdesigns.blogspot.com/.

This is a great card, I love the color combo you used. The wire and twine are so clever, I think any man would be happy to receive this card, great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies, and K, I have used that cartridge a few times but this was the best thing I have made with it yet. It has a LOT of choices.
