Happy Birthday Linda!!!!!

One of my Design Team gals is having a birthday June 24th. So, she thought she would have a Pretty Purple Birthday Challenge over at her blog Fancy Framework. Well, I really just wanted to make her a card anyway. All she asked is that it has purple, bling and ribbon on it. Pretty easy. Who really doesn't love that, unless you are not a fan of purple. Well, I am glad I found time this evening to make something. I hope you all will check out Linda's blog and enter in her b-day challenge. It's really fun and she is a great friend!!!!

Happy Tuesday evening!!! It's girls night out for me tomorrow. Hoping to enjoy a pedicure with my friend Laurie. Really looking forward to it. Then maybe I can make something for July 4th. I can't believe I haven't done that yet. :)

FCCB Challenge 65 - Summer Sun

It's another Challenge me Monday over at FCCB. What a great way to start off the week. We were asked to make a project incorporating the sun. I thought that would be a great time to try out one of the new cartridges I purchased. Be sure to check out the FCCB DT and see what they have made. We have a wonderful DT and I am SO glad to be a part of it. I have missed the last few challanges due to some personal issues but everything is ok and I am doing great! I hope you like my card and I can't wait to see what all of you make for this challenge. :)

I am so thankful for having such a great Dad and for all that he has done for me. It will be a great day hanging out with my Dad and my family. I do wish my father-in-law was still here today so that we could spend time with him. We miss him and love him very much.

Operation Write Home - Thank you Challenge

Today is Operation Write Home Day.

Kassidy from Inking It Up Crazy paired up with We R Memory Keepers to make and send cards to the troops that they can write on and send home.

Today there will be all different challenges and giveaways at Inking Up Crazy and the best part is that all the cards are going to be sent to the troops to use to send home!

I was asked to make a Thank You card. This was supposed to be easy for me, but I found out it was harder then I thought. Everything I came up with just looked all wrong. But, I still made something cute and hope that it will work just fine for the troops.

Kassidy's Birthday Bash Day - Layout project

It's another day of Kassidy's Birthday Bash over at Inking it Up Crazy. She asked a few of us to make a layout project. So, be sure to check out her blog to see what she will be giving away!!!!

This is my big, spoiled, baby dog Lucky. He loves to sleep on pillows. Lucky will be 7 years old in September. My sister brought him home when he was just a puppy and hid him in her closet so our Mom wouldn't find out. The first time I held him in my arms, I fell in love with him. When my sister stopped paying attention to him, my Mom tried to take care of him, while I moved out into my own house. Not much later, Mom brought him over to come live with me. He has been the best dog I have ever had. He is so smart too. He is part sheltie and part collie (we think). I could not imagine my live without him. I hope you like my spoiled baby layout. Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Kassidy's Month Long Birthday Bash - Vinyl Project

My sweet friend Kassidy over at Inking it Up Crazy is celebrating her birthday this month with alot of posts and giveaways. She asked some of us to do a project with some of her favorite items. I have made decals with vinyl on my Cricut Expression and I have used T-Shirt vinyl to decorate shirts which I will have to post soon and show you what it looks like. I was scared to use vinyl at first, but it's really not to hard. There are so many things you can do with vinyl. You can label things with it, use it as words of inspiration on your walls and even use as a stencil to do glass etching. Glass etching is also fun. Be creative and try making something out of vinyl. I would love to see what you can make. :)

Baby Horse card

This is another baby shower card I did for my bestie Sky last night. She wanted a western themed card for a boy. I really had to think about this one. I looked through all my cartridges and really kept coming back to this little horse. I didn't have a barn, so I used a dog house. I hope it looks ok. I tried to make it western with what I had. I think its pretty cute anyway. I hope you all like it. I am excited about tomorrow. I will be at the scrapbook convention here in TX. I am dying go get out and shop and get some great goodies at great prices! :)
